Guest guest
OH God Elaine i'm so sorry you are not feeling well... what the heck does your doctor expect to see? it should be enough that you tell him that you are in pain and there is something wrong... He just doesn't seem to get it!... maybe you should tell him off and loudly...in front of other patient's, i mean it, sometimes that's what it takes...sigh!!.. sorry, but this really stinks... Is there any other doctor you can go see Elaine? If this doctor wants you to flare, at least he should give you a sick leave.. why to into work feeling like you do... it's very upsetting!! and what if you don't flare? what then? Elaine, i'm hoping you get this resolved soon and go on the meds you need to be on, even though Pred is the pits, if you need it, you need it...please let us know what happens... i'm thinking of you... take care sweetie love Carmela :-) ******************************** > >Reply-To: Rpolychondritisegroups >To: " RP Group (E-mail) " <Rpolychondritisegroups> >Subject: I feel really crappy!!!!!! >Date: Tue, 8 Aug 2000 08:51:10 -0700 > >Hi All, >Just feeling really crappy and want to vent!!!! Guest guest
Hi Lu, I guess I should have clarified, it's the Rheumy who wants to see me flare. My doc is pretty good. I called him today to see if the Rheumy had sent anything back to him and he hasn't. I saw the Rheumy on July 25th, it's August 8th now. How long does it take! That's two weeks how long does it take to write a letter? Anyhow I guess I better not get started or there'll be another rant. Thanks for your encouragement. I'm so glad you're all out there. Thanks again Elaine Re: I feel really crappy!!!!!! Guest guest
Elaine, i'm glad to hear you feel a little better, but we have to get you to feel a lot better... seems to me your working condition is causing you a lot of stress, which you obviously do not need... and that is adding to your pain..i realize getting out of working is not easy, especially since your boss took off, but in view of your current physical condition, perhaps a leave would help you... but then again only you can judge what to do about work...it's only a suggestion... ) can your regular doctor refer you to another rheumy? just try to relax and take a breather as often as you can, things have to get better ) As for me, i'm doing ok, more later... take care sweetie love Carmela ***************************** > >Reply-To: Rpolychondritisegroups >To: <Rpolychondritisegroups> >Subject: RE: I feel really crappy!!!!!! >Date: Tue, 8 Aug 2000 22:05:02 -0700 > >Hi Carmela >Thanks for the words of encouragement.
