Guest guest
what a day this has been!!! i went to the dentist this AM and she did a partial cleaning...(cause it had been so long since i had been she thought this was the best way) I go back monday to have it finished and have a *small* cavity filled. I probably won't need meds for this. Then she told me i needed to contact an oral surgeon for the actual extraction. So they give me the name of one to call and i call them....come to find out they don't take myinsurance (i have state incurance) I had to call 4 or 5 different places that i was refered to that was *suppposed* to take it before i found one that actually DID! So this surgeon said she didn't have an appointment for me until AUGUST 4th!!! i said " You have GOT to be kidding me! " i can't stand the pain that long!!! This tooth will get infected and get into my blood stream and make me SICK before then! I can barely get my mouth open far enough to eat a sandwich!!!! I feel like if someone punched me in the face as hard as they could it would make me feel better! So i got an apt with this doctor for tuesday...just for a consultation! Then who knows how long it will be after that! Is there *anything* that you all think will work for the pain until then? Aleve isn't phasing it, neither is tylenol. I am trying oral spray right now and i can't tell a difference. The dentist didn't put me on any antibiotics i guess because there is no infection (yet) But MAN does it ever hurt!!!! I do have 2 other wisdom teeth that haven't come thru the gum yet and they are considering having those extracted as well (whats the point? they aren't bothering me) Anyway, thanks for listening to me gripe, i just can't imagine being in this kind of pain for the next week or more! UGH! <<<<Your breastmilk is filtered the same way your blood is. If you get anesthesia, it isn't stored as a cumulative product in your breastmilk. When it leaves your bloodstream, it also leaves your breastmilk... and the good thing is that anesthesia has a short half-life. You can use your own feelings of clear-headedness as a guide for when you are ready to nurse again after your procedure. If you are able to nurse physically, the residual effects of the general anesthesia will be low enough to nurse.>>>> , you sent this info to me...if i read this right, it means i can safely have general anesthesia, right? I won't have to pump and dump? Let me know.... --Debbie ___________________________________________________________________ Get the Internet just the way you want it.
