One of Dr. Sy's recommended products for rosacea contains salicylic acid

which is a beta hydroxy acid. It is the Acne Oil Control Gel.

I found this on a Begoun's website under the products section.

I have tried this product and at the time it was too irritating for my

skin but the more my skin calms down the more I htink that I might try

this product again.Everyone is different but it seems that she has had

good feedback from rosaceans.

Beta Hydroxy Acid. The reason for this may be

due to BHA's relation to aspirin. Aspirin and BHA

are both salicylates. Salicylates have

anti-inflammatory properties. At the same time that

BHA exfoliates the skin (removing the flaky skin

problem associated with rosacea) it also calms

down the redness!

Highly recommend the website and books again. I also really like the

toner and moisturiser.
