Guest guest
I just wonder if EPO is more helpful for females...all the women in my office are on EPO and all report good results. The most reported benefit of EPO seems to be the easing of PMS symptoms. KateWis
Guest guest
Hi . I've tried EPO and have never had much success with it. From what I understand, Borage oil is also GLA based, but it has a much higher concentration than EPO. So, I would think it too would make you oily, but I don't know. My skin is dry during the winter, so I would love to find something to kick my oil glands into gear. I just hate buying all these health food supplements b/c they never seem to work for me. I have about a dozen half used bottles sitting around my room now! Chris EPO > I was taking 1300 mg 2x p day at first and my skin got very oily, I then > backed off to one p day and it is a lot better, but still oily so I think > I'm going to stop it for awhile anyway. Guest guest
- I tryed evening primrose oil long ago and I broke out so I switched to flax seed oil. My skin loves flax seed. I ran out of my GNC bottle of flax and just bought some Udo's choice which has lots of different oils and two days later I again have broken out with huge cysts. I'm going back to just plain flax seed, but I'm going to buy the refrigerated cold-pressed kind. I take 2000 mg./day. Kim
Guest guest
Kim, Udo's Choice does contain a small amount of Evening Primrose oil. Refrigerated cold-pressed Flax is excellent, IMHO. Sorry about the breakout. Jim Re: EPO > - > > I tryed evening primrose oil long ago and I broke out so I switched to flax > seed oil. My skin loves flax seed. I'm going to ride this " upswing " for as long as I can. KateWis
