Guest guest
, if you want to try ordering from Canada, buylowdrugs.com is an actual pharmacy in BC...a medicine shoppe. On another bb someone said they have contacted buylow about the drug seizures. Buylow said if any of their drugs are confiscated, they will either refund or try to send again. They said the border customs seizure happens about once every 5 mo. or so. I haven't ordered from buylow yet...but they have a sterling reputation on the bb's for AP. They also have the best minocin prices...check them out. There is also an 800 number if you want to call first. Triax also has a program for uninsured, low income patients....not sure what their income limit is for that. I've been meaning to call them, but haven't yet. Anyway, this is what i have read on other bb's. I don't know if any of the other Canadian mail orders are being this helpful, you could call any that have their phone # listed. Guest guest
Jan and Nan, Thanks for the info about ordering drugs from Canada. If the generic doesn't work, I will go that route. In my letter to Triax, one of my questions was if they have a plan in place to assist comsumers. (As I said in the previous post, they didn't give me the courtesy of a reply). I saw that a news release came out on May 30 that they just launched a patient assistance plan. I don't qualify, but maybe others on the board will. I think the 250% plus Minocin price increase is outrageous and I just can't sit here without trying to do something and making my feelings known. It affects many of us that take Minocin as our drug of choice. And it affects a lot of people with diseases other the auto-immune/rheumatoid types. I would like to see Triax receive many, many letters from those it affects. I think they should hear from the consumers and they should know we will not be able to purchase Minocin and thus it will compromise our health situations. I plan to send Triax another letter and I plan to write to my legislators as well as any consumer group I can find.

Guest guest
I am really sorry to be ignorant on this topic, but what is Minocin and what does it do, perhaps specially like a 2 or something different? Again sorry. I have just been trying to look for a new drug as I have pretty much gone through most of the other giggies and quite a few of the small ones too. michaelr_321@... > > Hi Everyone, > > I knew from postings that Minocin had been acquired from Wyeth by Triax Pharmaceuticals. What I found out when I went for my March refill, is that Triax increased the price by over 250%. My insurance does not pay enough toward it because it is a brand name and I can no longer buy it. I am sure this is the case with many of you. I considered buying from Canada but that is a problem also since the government is tightening down and confiscating the packages. I will have to go with the generic and hope it will do the job. Some of you will probably have to do likewise.
