Guest guest
Hi Mae, I have had the shoulder pain, still some but not as bad as it had been. I could not lay down in any position because of the pain it caused. Could not lean back in a chair. When it finally got to this point I tried to tuff it out for about 3 more days and gave up and went to the Dr. He shot both shoulders with cortisone, it took about to days to knock out the pain, but it finally did. Is coming back some now, but I think it took care of the worst of the inflammation. Doc said if it didn't then he would do it again, but it has been about a month and I can still sleep, It is a little tough getting up in the morning, but I manage it. Skippy rheumatic Shoulder Pain! Hello All, Do any of you in the group ever have pain in the shoulder bone and between the shoulders? I have really had it bad for the past 3 days. It's sorta like an old tooth ache, or Pluericy pain. Just wondering. Would love to hear from you all about this. Hope everyone is having a Pain Free Day! LOL Ann maryannbell@...
Guest guest
Dear Ann You wrote <Do any of you in the group ever have pain in the shoulder bone and between the shoulders?> I have pain in the shoulders and between the shoulders alot. Sometimes it is dull achey but other times very acute pain. I find it is often related to certain foods. Also it seems at times to be definitely HERX. When I have pain free days (I had 3 in a row this weekend and it was wonderful!) I especially am thankful for no shoulder pain. SO, hang in there and realize it will get better. Guest guest
Hi Ann, I too have had shoulder pain. Some of it is in the ball joint of my right shoulder. I had a few years where it was so painful that I could not sleep on that side. I cannot sleep on my stomach because of back surgery I had years ago. So that only left my left side and back that I could sleep on and then sometimes I coulden't stand to sleep on my back. I do have an odd half numb spot just under the right shoulder blade on my back that sometimes gets painful. This kind of comes and goes. I do have to say that the right shoulder pain has improved tremendously since I've been on AP. That took about a year to improve. I can now sleep on my right side and have very little pain there any more. Just hang in there and stay with your AP. It may take awhile but things do start improving. Guest guest
Good Morning to All, Hope everyone is feeling better today. Does anyone have a home remedy for bad pain in shoulders? I have really bad pain in my shoulders especially my left one, also burning and sometimes itching. I have rubbed differen't goop on it, and put a Heating Pad on it, but it is still very much with me. Please advise me to what I can do. Thanks and Warm Hugs! Ann maryannbell@...
Guest guest
----- Original Message ----- From: " Mae Folk " <maefolk@...> Does anyone have a home remedy for > bad pain in shoulders? If inflammation is involved you could try ice packs several times a day. DMSO might also help but be sure the area is clean before applying as it goes directly into the blood stream. DMSO can be purchased at any veterinary supply store. Also found effective is a lotion with MSM and aloe - 1-800-364-2182 - Super MSM/aloe lotion item No. 5812. Be sure to put your shoulders through range of motion exercises daily. Ethel

Guest guest
Yes under the left shoulder blade radiating from the top of the fusion... referred pain likely. (Described as bizarre by an orthopedic surgeon. Got to love them.)Also under the rib cage on the right side, again referred pain. You're not alone. Neck... well that's the worse problem with my condition lately is the neck is getting just terrible. I get dizzy and headaches from it. The pain goes all the way up the sides of my neck and to my jaw. I have flat back syndrome as well but lately it's the upper back that is causing all the grief. -- In Scoliosis Treatment , " petspal2003 " <petspal@...> wrote: > > Does anyone else suffer from shoulder pain due to scoliosis??? > > I say due to scoliosis due to the fact that i have s curved scoli > and the left shoulder is pushed forward. > The only relief that I can find is to place the front of my shoulder > against a door frame opening and push against it...kinda like > I'm trying to push it into where it 'should be on a normal person' lol > > I wish that they made a shoulder brace or something to sleep in for relief!
