I know it does cause those side effects, and I have been hesitant to try it

due to that..I really don't want to gain weight or be dizzy! Side effects

are different for everyone though...

My friend has been taking it for a year, and she did gain weight (went up 2

sizes in her jeans) and she gets swelling of the hands and feet, but she said

it really takes her muscle pain away..

I can't speak for anyone else as we all react differently, but here

are my reactions to Lyrica. It has not caused depression but I am

not subject to that anyway. It has not caused any weight gain nor

dizziness. I have had 2 very bad falls which both sent me to the

emergency room, but that was just before I went on Lyrica. I have

been on it for a few years and it has really helped rid me of nerve

pain. Not as well on the muscle pain. I still get nerve pain

occasionally but it is rare.
