Guest guest
Hi Sparky; Obviously you are correct. The tone reminded me of The Downtown AA Group in Des Moines, Iowa some years ago. I was called on to speak and was talking of a then pressing problem, when the chairman stopped me. He said " We talk about the problems of Alcoholism, NOT the problems of the alcoholic. " AA is a thought limiting and mind narrowing experience in many of its' facets. Limiting ourselves to being anti-AA, wil in the end just make us a part of AA. They will need us to point to, like the preacher needs a sinner to refer to, no matter how obliquely. And I'll get on my soap box anytime I bloody well please! Or at least till Ken R says otherwise<G>
