Guest guest
Thanks Sherry. I hear this all too often. Doctors who would rather let people suffer with pain than to prescribe a pain medication for pain. Afraid of narcotics and addictions and drug seekers. They need to get real. It is plain rediculous. If those drugs were not made for PAIN then what the hell are they made for? And Flexeril????? Come on. I think you need a new doctor. But then again, alot of them are that way. It is sickening. If they talk to you and get to know you enough they can learn who they can and cannot trust to be telling them the truth. Pain is pain.... drug addicts are drug addicts. Grrrrrrrrr. One of my pet peeves. hugs, Debra V. Sherry Baker wrote: First thing a GOOD dr will tell you, its only addictive to certain personalitiies. Of course some dr's dont like to say that to loudly because then you might want some. hell my dr guard flexeril like its a high narcotic. So no way I can get something like that from him! I tore the meniscus in my knee and he gave me " darvaset " woo hooo. Roxicet, hydricordone etc all work to some extent on Fibro if nothing else it settles the major aches down enough that we can rest and fuction.! Good luck Sherry --------------------------------- Never miss a thing. Make Yahoo your homepage.
