Nothing associated with treating a kidney stone precludes you from breastfeeding -- not even the IVP! I can tell you that if you are off your feet resting, not typing or fighting the fog to think, you will relax more. If you have someone there with you helping you now (and you should being on pain meds!), have that person bring Mattie to you and get him latched on for you while you lay in bed. I took Vicodin when I was recovering/passing a stone... I recall going to the grocery store with my roommate... it was quite humorous in memory!!
