Oooohhh it just sounds lovely. I can't wait to see pictures. nna is going to be such beautiful bride. I'm a pink girl myself so I really appreciate all the pink touches. She's fortunate to have someone she works with and trusts to make the gown for her. That kind of personalization makes such a difference.

I'm glad you had an opportunity to be in on things from the beginning. How did you do on all those stairs?

rosanna's wedding dress

mary-beththank you - i will take you up on your offer to describe thedress here so i can withstand the urge to tell the family.her dress is ivory with a strapless bodice - separate skirt.when we went to the store and tried things on to see whatsuited her, separates made the best of her waist. she hasa bit of a bottom, small waist and lovely shoulders. after seeing how much she suited the fullest, bustliest skirt(which we tried just for fun) she has chosen to have this type of skirt. in fact the one that is being made for her is even bigger than the one in the store. the rosey pink isbeing brought in by tiny little rose sequins sewn all over the skirt so that it shimmers and sparkles when she moves.the bodice will have bigger sequins. i think this is rather apt as rosanna ended up in her career (stage management) via dance class as a 3 yr old. sequins featured in so many of her

costumes at dance displays. the bigness of the skirt helps with her bottom too. it is and will be lovely. thegirl making it works beside her at the theatre so is enjoying doing this as opposed to cheap, fast costume turnaroundthat she normally does.the veil is long and will have sequins too. one of the theatredesigners is controlling the look. she will have pink/rose roses of course in her bouquet and my mum, andy's mum, irene(groom's mum) and myself are all trying to have pink in our outfit. the groom is wearing a self colour grey kilt and hisbrother (the main best man) a self colour black kilt. the twodads will have blue/green kilts and the main bridesmaid is wearinga black dress with pink shoes whilst the two other witness will be in black tux. the two flower girls will be in pink.andy's pal who is very good with clothes has offered to come with me when i get my outfit. he is very

it took a long while to climb them.

i was going to take the oxygen but didn't.

i hadn't practiced putting the hose on with andy

but i am now alert to the possibility of this

dreaded ph so i am going to do better. i felt a

bit depressed when i got them cos they are 19''

and i was expecting them to be smaller so i could

carry them. i have it in a small suitcase that i'd

need to drag behind me. they come from the pharmacy (not

concentrator supplier) and i couldn't face trying

to negotiate for the smaller tanks. cutting story

short, andy said he will talk to them and sort this out.

i have been so busy trying not to have him involved

before its necessary i forgot that he would love to

'fix' something for me. silly billy me. i am going

to start driving to a biggish park near here and walk

round the pond with my o2 to get in some of these

10,000 steps. a good way to break myself in to wearing

it in public. i want to dance at the wedding and i wont

be able to do that without a tank. 50 days to the wedding.

back to these stairs. i put the oxymeter on and

watched it all the time. i stopped every 3/4 steps.

its the first time rosanna has seen it and in a funny

way i think it helped her understand what is going on.

i told her to walk on ahead but she wouldn't. someone came

up behind us at one flight and i moved faster than

i should have and it showed and i took longer to recover.

she could see for herself the numbers dropping and she

understood the heart numbers as she is at the gym all the

time, so very useful. i think it helped her be patient

cos she could actually see what was happening instead of

taking my word for it.

i am so looking forward to watching the two people i love

most in the world walk down that aisle. my husband can't

wait. i keep telling him he has the second starring role.

he has been secretly printing off stuff from the net about

his speech. i used to be great at writing speeches so i

will have to have a go at his, even if he chooses not to use

it. hahaha.

wedding is 1st june which is a sunday.

this is causing me a problem cos all the hair salons

will be closed. the two grans can get their rollers

in the day before but i'm not sure if doing my own

hair will be good enough. i also fancy someone else

doing my make up. i usually only wear eye liner and

lipstick. i think i'm going to indulge in a spray

tan too. andy has always wanted to have a spray

tan. i tell him that that is ridiculous and buy him

a bottle of self tan but that would be a nice thing

to do together.

it also just dawned on me that i will have the first

dance with the groom's father and not andy and i dont

know how to waltz. i think i'm going to have to have

a lesson or two.
