Guest guest
Thanks hon, he's much better now. Hasn't had a shaky episode in over a year, since getting on the jenuvia. Before we'd just swing through and get a burger, he'd practically inhale that and be just fine. He always wanted meat during those times, but he was once diagnosed as a child with an iron deficiency. Anyhow the jenuvia has resulted in a healthy blood sugar level and he doesn't have those crashes anymore at all. But we always have food on us when we venture out. Peanut butter cracker sandwiches are our favorites for sudden hunger. And I do always have some sort of hard candy in my purse, mostly peppermint candies lately. I gave up gum two weeks ago so those are my new yummies of choice. Melody Annie G wrote: > Another good thing is to carry hard candy. Have him chew it up, not suck on it. The sugar will get in his system really quick. You can also buy what they call Glucose tablets at a pharmacy (no script needed). They melt in your mouth for a quick sugar fix. > > Blessings, > Annie >
