Guest guest
I cannot believe the last week. My boss, whose sister has fibro, just told me that I have to " work through the pain and step up the pace " or she will have to replace me. She KNOWS how hard it is to move some days, and how much pain I am in all the time. She's the one who gives me percocet just so I can function most days. She can make allowances for when someone comes in to work hung over or high, but she cannot accomodate a disabled person? I told her to do what she had to do and we'd see what the labor board and the aclu had to say about her terminating me due to physical limitations of a disability. She said that the report would only say unsatisfactory performance. Since my app for employment CLEARLY STATES that I have physical limitations and a disability, the law suit should be over quickly. I just can't wait to see how corporate responds to this. I am looking for another job as we speak. Someplace where they understand that sometimes a person just cannot do what they did the day before. I told her up front that there were gonna be days when I couldnt finish all the physical stuff. I just don't have enough spoons to keep up with her anymore and I am no longer interested in trying.
