Diwala,

Do you have an oximeter yet? My suggestion would be to monitor yourself during activities and see how your sats change. Also, if eliminating coffee is going to reduce your inflammation you will know in about a week. I still drink tea but only decaffinated or organic. As for work. I don't remember what you do for a living. I was a teacher and applied for disability through the California Teacher's Retirement System. I was approved in less than 30 days and recieved my first check 60 days later. I can get my full benefits and make up to 1,000 extra a month, so I am planning to teach an online college course as soon as I finish my Masters Degree. I currently have insurance through COBRA and then will get Medicare in 6 months. Is there a part time job you can do and still get insurance? Will your current employment retrain you for a desk job or parttime job that would

suit your physical needs better. There are so many solutions to surviving this disease. My advice would be to brainstorm all of your options before you make any drastic changes. And, before you quit your job do you have life insurance? I did not know till it was too late that I could have gotten 65% of my policy before I quit since I was terminal. Once I quit, my life insurance was terminated. Good luck and God bless- Sarcoid/PF 3/2006 California
