Guest guest
I think some of us are sooo discreet that no one has any idea of what we're doing...Shouldn't we be getting the message out there? Aren't you proud that you've worked at it and hung in there to have a successful nursing relationship with your baby? How thrilled are you when you run into another nursing mom?? I know I am...and i try to advertise that I am one..nursing clothes, sling, and bfip whenever I can. " Breasts are used to advertise everthing but breastmilk " How true is THAT statement?? By nursing too discreetly, we undermine our efforts to get the word out. I very proudly feed my daughter in public all the time without exposing my breasts, but if someone should see some skin--SO WHAT?? We, US, now, today, tomorrow, this week--are the only advertisers of breastfeeding. There are no 60 second spots to counter the formula commercials, advertisements and samples that are regularly fed to the general public. It's just us ladies...get out there and do it!
