Ami makes you really tired and fatigued.

they start you at 10 and work up to 300mg at 5mg i was sleeping 16 hrs per day

not a good thing.

trazodone vs amitriptyline

I have been taking Trazadone (100mg.) for years. and it seems to work well. I

like it very much. But my doctor suggested that I try Amitriptyline.(50mg.)

cause it can help with the pain more. She gave me one month supply and told me

to stop taking the Trazadone and to try this. Which one is better? I went to

Webmd and they are both in the same family of medicine. Ya! antidepressants.. I

don't like that Amitriptyline can cause Yellowing of the skin. That means it is

hard on the liver. It will be interesting to see what you all take and what

affects you have. thanks

For me the amitriptylene increased my cravings for eating even more than

usual. So that is why I switched to trazadone. It did not have this side

effect. Good luck with it.
