You could almost define 'overachiever' as the kind of guy who checks in to

Hazelden to detox and comes out its Public Relations Director :-)

it never ceases to astound me the length these people will go to

make any and all human behavior a 'sign " of addiction.

all except one however, im still waiting for them to say giving your

entire self to jesus and god and compulsively pushing your

belief system onto others is an addiction.

i just had this happen to me 5 minutes ao at a stop light, a guy

came up to car and gave me a leaflet proclaim " have a drug or

alcohol problem? First call on God., then call us. "

I used to be all messed up on drugs/alcohol then I found " The Lord " Now I'm

all messed up on " The Lord "

The Lord = AA

Did you tell him: Amen? Or maybe: Are you saved brother? You know you're

going to hell if you haven't been born again don't you? How about: Renounce

your false God and worship me as the center of the universe?

It's amazing how quickly they turn ugly for someone who's supposedly

religious.
