Guest guest
Ginger I'm 43 also I live in S.E. Arkansas only a few mile from the Arkansas River where I grew up camping and fishing. I was diagnosed w/clinical depression 21 yrs. ago and have been on antidepressants ever since and have had many years that I couldn't tell wether they were doing anyting at all for me. Lyrica is helping me for a few months now however as we learn not any one thing works for everyone. Oh duh I'm glad you joined us. you may not like all of us but I hope I can truthly say WE all Love you!!! We are all sick in many different ways at time and our illnesses get the most of us at the worst possible times. I am trying my best to fight this dang FibroMONSTER by staying busy doing something and I have been very busy the past few weeks and have neglected the group. Ginger I have come to believe it's a matter of doing something positive every day. It doesn't have to be a lot but just a little may help US get thru one more day. WE share our experience, strenght and hope on a daily basis and that is the most we can do for each other. Ginger I hope you find the Love, encouragement and support I have found since I joined about 10 mos. ago GOD Bless YOU ! ! ! . . . ........................................ . . . I'm 43 and live in Western North Carolina.I'm divorced and have a son 20 and a daughter 15 that live with me.I love animals, especially dogs.I breed and raise a few just for my pleasure and to help with my income. They are my furbabies and are what helps me get through my days. I've had Fibro and Chronic Fatigue for a little over 15 yrs. I was diagnoised with Depression about 9 yrs ago and I've since gotten my SSI and Disablity.Just this past year I was diagnosed as being bi-polar. I also have pernicious anemia (can't absorb B12),knots in my thyroid,an anuerism in my renal artery, and possibly Epstein Barr Virus. I have chills, body aches, fevers (basically flu like symptoms)etc with mine. I've met a few people with Fibro that have these symptoms but I know not everyone does. My Doctor put me on Lyrica about 4 months ago,and I'm on a lot of anti-depressants. I can't tell that the Lyrica is doing a whole lot for me - as an anti-depressant or for the Fibro.Well I guess that's about it! I'm glad that I've found a group of people that can and will understand the problems of living daily with Fibro. So many people don't understand because we look " normal " to them! Everyone have as good a day as possible and take care...Ginger _________________________________________________________________ Make distant family not so distant with Windows Vista® + Windows Live™. http://www.microsoft.com/windows/digitallife/keepintouch.mspx?ocid=TXT_TAGLM_CPC\ _VideoChat_distantfamily_012008
