Guest guest Posted April 4, 2008 Report Share Posted April 4, 2008 Hi , I went with Joanie this am. For her MRI on knee. Will find out results next week. I worked in the yard and rode the mower and did some weed eating also. I did without O2 and was tired afterwards. Came in and had a Gatorade and some O2. I breathe better as it is very humid and raining at present. We are going to Myrtle Beach next month and I will see if the ocean air helps me. Sister and her husband are coming over and play dominoes at 6:00 PM. It has been a full day for me so I will sleep tonight, especially with my CPAP. As far as the book I am a lot like Barry also and Joanie says I have a warped sense of humor. Maybe guys with that type of humor get this stupid disease. I do swear but mostly when I get totally pissed at something or someone including myself. I am working at trying to ignore this monster disease and I am too independent at times and do not want help. I am really trying to change for the better. Joanie does not deserve to have to take care of me. I have no fear that she will be there for me but I want to delay the dependance as long as possible. Today I almost felt like my old self with the exception of shortness of breath. I have so many friends and relates praying for me one of them should work!!! They tried and Noble too. You can not print it on line either as it is locked so you can not. , But it is worth the read. I am Going to read a second time as I may have missed something. Guest guest Posted April 14, 2008 Report Share Posted April 14, 2008 THANKS A LOT. WE GOT EACH OTHER BIKES FOR CHRISTMAS. I GOT SICK BETWEEN CHRISTMAS AND NEW YEARS THE IPF DIAGNOSIS MID JAN. WE STILL GO OUT ON THEM. LAST SUNDAY WE WENT ON A POKER RUN OF 109 MILES AND JOANIE WON $105.00. GET 60-70 MILES PER GAL ALSO. I HAVE HAD 9 BIKES AND THIS IS JOANIE'S FIRST. SHE HAS A LEARNERS PERMIT AND HAS TO YAKE HER TEST YET TO BE ABLE TO RIDE AFTER DARK, CARRY A PASSENGER, AND RIDE ON INTERSTATE. OTHER THAN THAT SHE CAN DO ANYTHING SHE WANTS AND GO ANYWHERE. WE WERE RIDING SUNDAY WITH SOME REAL BIG BIKERS AND EVEN POLICE ESCORTED SOME OF THE WAY. WHEN WE GOT BACK SHE SAID DO YOU REALIZE WE GOT UP TO 70 MPH AT TIMES? I SAID WE HAD TO STAY WITH THE POLICE. WE HAD ABOUT 50 BIKERS AND WEATHER WAS GREAT. I STRAPPED AN EXTRA O2 TANK ON AND EVERYONE THOUGHT I HAN NITROUS OXIDE FOR EXTRA SPEED. HOPE TO HAVE MORE MEMORIES AND TRIPS WHEN IT WARMS UP. Some smell and will really kick off the coughing. Ground Floor. Handicap rooms are usually one bed. Queen size.. We need a King so we just get a first floor. Thats two Queens. puts an E tank in the back floor with a pulse regulator. I use that while driving that saves my cart tank or bag (BOA) so I can stay out longer. I hope you have a wonderful trip.
