Bad news...Micronor does contain lactose. I pulled out my insert and it is

listed as one of the inactive ingredients.

As far as vitamins....I take Nature's Way Prenatal Complete Multivitamin

Formula, an OTC that I got at a Health Food Store. It specifically says: No

yeast, milk, lactose, weat, sugar, soy, or corn.

HTH.

I take the local healthfood store's brand. They say on the bottle no soy,

dairy etc... are included. I took these all through my pregancy, you have to

take 4 a day (spaced out is best) but I have a large healthy baby and have

not had probs. Maybe check with your healthfood store. (they are cheaper

too at our store than the prescribed kind!)

Aloha!

That helps for sure! I'm going to look for it today!

As for the pills, I've now heard they ALL have lactose. Gotta call the doc.

Thanks.

Okay, good news and better spirits today - the pediatrician explained that

the lactose is the sugar in milk and Corey's allergy is to the protein part.

Although it is impossible to fully separate the two, it shouldn't be a

problem. And I found some prenates with no dairy anyway, just to be on the

safe side.

Thank you all for you kind words and for the information!
