The Departed is a 2006 thriller-crime film directed by Scorsese. It

stars Matt Damon, Jack Nicholson & Leonardo DiCaprio. This film is a remake

of the movie Crime thriller Infernal Affairs. This movie has won 4 Academy

Awards with the Best Picture award.

The set is in Boston, Massachusetts. This is where notorious Irish Mob

" " Costello (Played by Jack Nicholson) sets up his protégé Colin

Sullivan (played by Matt Damon) as a spy in the Massachusetts State Police.

But at the same time the Massachusetts State police assign Costigan

Jr. (Leonardo DiCaprio) to infiltrate Costello's gang. When both sides

realize this fact, each one attempts to find the other's true profile before

being found out.
