Guest guest
Gwynnie, I just wanted to say thanks for sharing all the info with us on what life is like for you now on a daily basis. This is truly invaluable information for folks considering transplant or who may be on a list already. Your attitude amazes me. You are so strong, and so optimistic, and it seems that you are also grateful for the opportunity to enjoy even the small things in life again....like the landscaping on your walks. I'm sure you're having frustration in there too, but your mindset of " this too shall pass " is holding you in good stead. I've known of other transplants that did not go nearly as well as yours, and I have to think that your wonderful attitude is a huge part of why you're such a miracle story. I think that when you write about your period of waiting, the transplant and the hospital, and now recovery, that it should be archived for other people to read and gain insight from. I'm personally not eligible for a transplant due to all my other diseases, but when I read about a great success such as yours it gives me hope that in time all of our stupid diseases will be stories in history books. Wishing you continued healing, and sending a really big hug your way!!! Babs in Texas
