Hi Zena, wow England I always wanted to meet someone from there. Iam glad i'am not the only one with it. The Drs say it came from my having tb when i was twenty three and now its shown itself. The Drs.told me to do the same. They said to go live my live and i see him in May.I do what i can which is almost everything and go slow with gardening and make someone esle carry baskets upstairs. They also told me to work with light weights at the health club.Until i can get insurance i have to rely on them telling me the right thing. I can walk 15 mins a day on my treadmill 2 times a day. Of coarse thats not fast but I think i feel a difference. Sharonp ph dx ph 2008 illinoisZena wrote: Hello Sharon Have a welcome from England. I am 38 and I've been diagnosed with PH in April. I'm waiting for an appointment for a specialist to come through (we do things differently here) but until then I was told to maintain my levels of activity. I don't over do it, I walk a bit each day on my O2, which I am on 24 hours a day, and I attempt (hah) to keep up with the housework. I was told not to increase my activity levels until I have seen the specialist, but that decreasing them can be detrimental too. So long as I'm on the O2 and keep an eye on my sats while I am doing anything. Welcome to this forum. We all use this forum differently to improve our mental and physical needs. It seems there are a bunch of members in Il. I can't remember from the seminar I attended if their were some geographic anomalies with this disease. Sorry, Sharon I tend to get confused and wander.
