Guest guest
Your comment about Eddie being your problem child may well be true, but also cute. Many times I have had to use as a mantra: " let life happen to " my kids, when I was tempted to criticize or distrust them to make decisions for themselves. They have to live and learn from their mistakes, and the goal shouldn't be to be copies of their parents. We all have different styles and speeds. I hope Eddie can learn to think along those lines, and that can speak up for herself in an assertive but non-threatening way that Eddie will hear in the spirit in which it is intended. Hopefully it'll help for him to watch your example. We all want our children to be confident, and that can't happen if we send them the message that we don't trust them to live their own lives (i.e., that they aren't capable). Worst of all, we enable them to let US do things for them, and that isn't the goal at all. I admire you for the hard work you are all doing at this point, and have no doubt you'll work it out. You go, Mom! Hugs to you. Hugs and blessings, Gwynnie 57 Single-lung Transplant on 4-3-08 at UTHSC - San , TX
Guest guest
Hi Leanne! I have had one side effect thus far. My face turns red somewhat. Not bright red. Maybe it's called flushing. It doesn't itch or burn. Maybe I have the drug. I am ready to go anywhere on a trip. Toodles! Jane UIP/IPF 12/1998 Dalton, Georgia > > >> > > Good to hear from you my friend.
