Hi Terry, I too got a lot from our conversation on monday. I too think I felt better with my appointment by being well prepared on what I needed.

Hey can I move down and live in one of your closets. It is currently 33F here in Buckley, WA and it is blizzarding. This is Unheard of here and I am sick of the cold.

Wow! Sounds like you just started to climb a huge hurdle. Good for you. I think the best way to deal with all this, is to improve our ability to cope with whatever we have, and do one positive thing at a time. In a way we become our #1 pcp! Keep up the good work and I hope to talk to you soon. I enjoyed our last conversation!

Still working with the HOA and should have some answer next week. At least they won't take the house, I just hope they take off the $1000 worth of fees they piled on to the $200 I owed. Again, I thank you for your concern. Take good care.

Hello friends. I went in to my pcp yesterday and she had not received the recommendations from UofW liver specialist yet. Suprise,Suprise. I did have more blood work done to check on liver function and anemia. Then I pulled my trusty note book out. The top 3 lines underlined were 'Quality of Life. I told her I needed to be as pain free as possible and to send the DEA to my house if they were afraid of me becoming addicted. Who cares. And I need to be able to sleep better so we (including my wife) reviewed my nice Excel spread sheet with all my prescriptions. We removed 6 and added one for sleep. The ones deleted all could affect liver function. For the worsening Dementia She wrote me up for a brain CT. Hope they find something. A brain that is. I was also wheezing so was told to start puffing on ProAir Inhaler again. Do I hear upper respiratory infection knocking on the door again. Cruise 2 weeks from tomorrow.

Then in the afternoon I (manly man) Steve went to my first appointment with a young female professional Mental Health Counselor. There was a leather couch and loveseat plus her chair. NO I DIDN'T lay on the couch! I think I was keyed up and didn't allow her to say much. She said that most 'people person, type a personalities' who have had their mobility taken away tend to act this way in the beginning. Yes I did make another appointment. Vickie did not join me this first session because I needed to bring up some issues about her. Vickie however will be joining me for future sessions. So far the only recommendations the counselor had was for me to be more assertive about needing to get away from the house(prison) on weekends for my own mental health. Overall I think the session went well and was worth it just for me to talk to someone face to face. Not that I don't appreciate this boards support keyboard to keyboard.

My Buddy, You have earned a very warm place in my heart! You come here whenever you want. It's about 80 and no humidity.
