You can get a drug-induced lupus-like syndrome after using it for a year or more. A year is the average--it could happen at any time, or it might not happen at all. As more and more people are using the drug longer, though, researchers are seeing more of it (or at least, reporting it more). They say that tetra- and doxycycline don't produce this type of effect as frequently. I'm sorry you had to go thru that, . I hope you were able to recover w/no residual problems... --- " D.
