Guest guest
Firstly, go back to your corner, have a seat facing the wall and keep your mouth shut (her hear would truly blow up if she couldn't talk). Secondly, thank you S., Bruce, , Taronna and Leanne. What a fundraiser it was. I only wish I could have spent more time visiting with my fellow pf'ers. For those of you who couldn't attend, well, it was fantastic. The local citizenry of Snyder came out and did what they do best, to care. The numbers are still being crunched concerning money raised, but it will eclipse what I had initally set as a goal. Will apprise all when the final numbers come in. I did dance, still light on my feet for a fat guy with multiple chins. And I still have the pieces of concrete stuck in my teeth from sucking for air. LOL. The music was excellent, especially the zydeco band. Really entertaining. In general the crowd was entertaining as well and quite generous. Bruce the words in your posts were both true and very kind. Live life every minute and enjoy friends both new and old. Yes, I do have a lot of friends, more than I know. , thank your for your presence at the party as well. It's nice knowing you are near and we will have to have lunch one of the days. Oh yeah, thanks for the tea. Leanne, what to say first. Hmmmmm? Thanks for making me stay at the airport for like 18 1/2 hours waiting for you. I was driven to drink and couldn't even get to the bar. LOL. Really, it was a pleasure in meeting you. You are an honorary Texan as far as my sis and I are concerned. I hope you get rested up. I'm worn out like a tired ol' dog. Hopefully next time ya'll come down, up or sideways we'll bbq some steaks and ribs 'neath the big west Texas sky. Then lean back and watch for about a million shootin' stars. Well I just wanted to jump in here and say howdy. Have a great evening all. Wally, NSIP 10/6 west Texas
Guest guest
Wally You wouldn't dare be talking to like that if you were coming to San where she could get her hands on you....lol....Of course you know the odds of her listening to you are less than zero... I imagine you are very tired but the best kind of tired in the world. I know you're not one lacking in self confidence but even you have to be amazed at all you did accomplish. Whoever said one man can't make a difference was very wrong. A song just came to my mind.....no, not zydeco, and maybe not one you know, but its so appropriate for the occasion. So to Wally as the one voice: One Voice Just One Voice, Singing in the darkness, All it takes is One Voice, Singing so they hear what's on your mind, And when you look around you'll find There's more than One Voice, Singing in the darkness, Joining with your One Voice, Each and every note another octave, Hands are joined and fears unlocked, If only One Voice Would start it on its own, We need just One Voice facing the unknown, And then that One Voice would never be alone, It takes that One Voice. It takes that One Voice. Just One Voice Singing in the darkness, All it takes is One Voice, Shout it out and let it ring. Just One Voice, It takes that One Voice, And everyone will sing! > > Firstly, go back to your corner, have a seat facing the wall and keep your mouth shut (her hear would truly blow up if she couldn't talk). > > Secondly, thank you S., Bruce, , Taronna and Leanne.
