I really like my van a lot more than I thought I would. I haven't really

used the chair, just tested it, but its just nice to know I'm set up to

be as mobile as possible. I head down the road with music playing, my

liquid reservoir belted in the second row of seats and the chair in the

back on its lift. I'm going to have the sensitivity on the control of

the chair reduced a bit as I'm not as experienced as the previous owner.

The headrest doesn't do much for your head but does make the perfect

place to hang the oxygen bag.

I was amazed on the trip to Snyder and back that the long drive just

didn't seem as bad as I anticipated. I'm still going to do some tweaking

and things to add any further conveniences for the road. I've purchased

a few additional CD's at half price books.

Everything isn't perfect and there is a time that would have annoyed me

to know end, but fortunately I'm able to accept it better now and

understand that my travel set up is quite good, my van is very

comfortable, and I'm fortunate to be set up for today and prepared for

reduced mobility.

Sher,

I'm so proud of you for deciding to go out and give of yourself to others. Seniors are so needy and they are so grateful for visits. Some have no one to call on for help. For you to do this in your state of health speaks volumes.

Please be careful not to overdo.

Yes, you are nosy....lol

and I haven't traveled together but my traveling has really just

started. We wanted to go to Disneyworld together in March during her

spring break but it was everyone's spring break and would have been the

worst week possible. We have talked about going in October, but don't

know if she'll be able to work it out. I'm sure we would both enjoy it

together.

Yes, she teaches....she's a good bit younger than me and of course I'm

still working age if not for disability.

Glad you have your glasses....so now you can see without them or really

really see with them.
