Guest guest
Hi Mama-Sher, Kathie, Joy and others interested. I've been thinking of Saturday Jun 14. Things are expensive in the Seattle area in Summer/Tourist season. So What would everyone think of Olympia. There is a Clarion close in and reasonable with plenty of rooms avail now with just a 1 night stay. I beleive we are all from different income brackets. Internet is www.clarionolympia.com Shows some attractions us from Seattle area may not have seen. Anyway still anxious to meet you all. Steve59 from WA IPF 2006 Reply-To: Breathe-Support To: <Breathe-Support >Subject: Re: Re: Sher,Date: Tue, 29 Apr 2008 17:52:28 -0700 Kathie...oh I over commit too but have learned now it's a no-no. I thought about this long and hard because I didn't want to start something I could not finish. I'm feeling good about it and anxious to get going. So far there will be the two of us, Steve, Joy and Armede....do you remember her from a year or more ago? Lives in Seattle. She doesn't post anymore but we stay in touch...she wants to 'meet' too. The only place you can get my book now is from me.....you can look on Amazon.com, they still have it listed and perhaps have a used copy....."Listen to the Silence". I think it's # 17 on the book list. Anyway, send me your address to bofuswbcable (DOT) net and I will send you one....autographed even! Ya can't get that from Amazon, but you can get it cheaper I think. I ask $10 for board members...s/h comes out of that. I don't market any longer.....long story....but if someone hears about the book and wants one, that's ok. Many here have read it. But I do not actively try to sell it, for obvious reasons. How was your trip? How are you feeling, what are you currently 'coping' with? My dx was recently changed from IPF to NSIP................. Mama-Sher, age 69.IPF 3/06, NSIP 4/08 OR. Don't fret about tomorrow, God is already there! Sher, > > >> > >> > > Mama Sher,> > > Volunteer work? More info, please m'aam. Guest guest
Steve/Sher and others GO PACIFIC NORTHWEST GROUP!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! This is so great watching you all plan to get together. I am excited because I know how much fun it will be. Ok, others...follow suit in other places. If you're near someone, see them. I love the way we're just doing more of these things. As great as the scheduled group in San will be, every meeting is special. Obviously Kerry and Joyce have a very special connection. I've gotten to meet Leanne...twice. I got to meet of Lubbock and her friends and Wally and his family and friends. Beth, Peggy, and Leanne got together. (Ok, Leanne is leading in meetings but I'm taking aim on topping her). and Don and met in Illinois. I met Gwynne. Now the Pacific Northwest Group. September, California. Ok, others jump on you own bandwagons. Why, if we keep this up we'll have to change this to The Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group and Social Club. > > > > > > > > Gwynnie....yes, I went on the interview this morning to > return to > > > volunteer work I have done previously. Guest guest
Beth That was before I was here but reading about it was what made me want more meetings, just seeing all the fun you all had. If only I'd been faster because I lived a couple of years in Chattanooga and would have loved that. However, I do intend to get to Chattanooga on my own on my NC trip this month. I was soooooooooooooooooooooooooo jealous reading about all of you and the fun. But, its good jealousy and inspires to meet others. It's like the Pacific Northwest Group. They couldn't make it to San , but they're going to develop something special themselves. In a perfect world we'd all meet at one place at the same time. But, we're all there in spirit even when two of us get together. I know when I ate lunch with Gwynne, while it was me and such a great personal experience, I always felt everyone else who wished they could be there were somehow with us in spirit. Every meeting I've had its been a rush to get back here and tell everyone. Now, because I've always been driving, someone always gets back here first. > > > > > > > > > > Gwynnie....yes, I went on the interview this morning to > > return to > > > > volunteer work I have done previously.
