My left eye tears went bye, bye in 1986, and my right in 1994. I use Lacri Lube ointment for my eyes but it leaves my eyes with blurry vision. Guest guest Posted September 5, 2002 Report Share Posted September 5, 2002 Hi Sally; My experience with ointments is that they make vision 'more' blurry at first but I think they stay on the cornea longer. Doc did try 'Refresh' drops last time and I don't think they worked as well as the ointment but there are other lubricating eye drops OTC.
