Lou,

They told me not to use the water bottle humidifier with the oxymizer....or to take a shower with it on. I use it sometimes, but I, like you, hate the noise. I keep my 02 on 8 - 10L. If I use the oxymizer, I can go to 6. The 02 company like for you to use the oxymizer because you use less liquid. Also, it is better not to have so much air blow up your nose. Those big old nasal prongs are soooo big!

Lou

I think there is some confusion. You've got a Sequal Integra for indoors

and night and using the oxymizer with it. It is not liquid oxygen. It is

a concentrator. It also is not 100%, but in the range of 90%.

Now the oxymizer serves three purposes and the first does not apply in

your case. It can conserve oxygen and would be used with a liquid

reservoir. But theres no reason to conserve from a concentrator. The

second is to allow you to use lower flow and it less harsh on your nose.

That doesn't appear to be working well from your description but might

be as the regular flow you would require without it would be greater and

could be worse. The third reason is a lousy one as it is to use a lower

flow concentrator so they don't have to supply a high flow one.

Now, I also don't like the " filled too often " part. You need what works

for you. They can supply multiple reservoirs or fill more often. Do not

compromise unless you're happy with what you've got. It is not your

place to save them money and their cost is a reason they might be

discouraging you using a liquid reservoir.
