Guest guest
Waverley, Normally amyloidosis starts with fever or pain and normally MSA starts with movement problems (speech problems are movement) or fatigue. Charlotte had many tests back in the late 80's and early 90's, so I don't remember everything she had before 1991. But I would not think people with MSA would usually have a test for it. ================================ Take care, Bill and Charlotte Waverley Beauchamp wrote: Out of curiousity, has anyone been screened for amyloidosis? Guest guest
That makes sense Bill. But when somebody has a primary autonomic failure it can be attributed to amyloidosis. It is usually not diagnosed until late progression but it is easier to diagnose now. Amyloidosis can can be primary secondary or hereditary. it cancause much similar neuro. probs.>>> b.werre@... 08/03/01 12:49PM >>>Waverley, Normally amyloidosis starts with fever or pain and normally MSA starts with movement problems (speech problems are movement) or fatigue.
