Guest guest
I recently bought a bottle of Coral Legend to try as an amendment to my water. It's supposed to be a highly efficient source of mineral ions in the water, but I've noticed that a lot of the powder just settles out of the water to the bottom of the jar or glass. Is this just because the powder particles are of various sizes due to limitations of the milling process? Is there much benefit to be had by consuming the sediment, or just what stays in solution? Also, how much do any of you who use it use? I added a teaspoon to my first gallon, but a lot settled out and even though I shook the bottle before pouring glasses of water I still had some extremely sediment-rich glasses of water at the end of the bottle. For the next couple gallons I tried half a teaspoon and got somewhat less sediment falling to the bottom, but also less dissolved in the water. I can't seem to find my pH meter or I'd have tested the water to see what effect the CL is having; has anyone checked? On the positive side, it really has very little effect on the taste of the water, so at least as far as that goes it's highly recommended! (I have been feeling a good deal better since starting to use the CL a few days ago, but I can't really say whether the CL had anything to do with it -- it rapidly became clear that the water from my Brita pitcher was making me sick, so I spent about three times what I could afford and bought what I hope is a decent under-the-sink water filter. It arrived at the same time as the Coral Legend, so I'd imagine the filter has had the bigger effect, but who knows.) -
