Irene,

I'm so glad that you are alright. We were all worried about you. It makes me so angry that the medical community where you sought help let you suffer for so long, then gave you bad treatment. Thank God, you finally got the help that you needed.

I pray that you heal quickly. Is there anyone with you?

Take care and keep in touch.

Irene....good to know how you are. Sounds like you are still dealing, only differently now. I hope you have someone with you or at least close by.

Are you up and about?

Do take care.

I Missed All of You

Hi to All my friends,I hope everyone is doing Well! I was discharged from the hospital tonight, with home care every week, have a PICC Line. After surgery, I stayed in hospital for 3 days, came home for a day and was re-admitted in hospital (was transferred by ambulance). I developped a partial bowel obstruction and within 3 days it became a complete obstruction. I was on TPN (parenteral nutrition), NG tube for 2 weeks. I spent 26 days in hospital, glad to be home, in total, I lost 50 pounds. Dr's and nurses were very wonderfull and took good care of me. Even my lung dr came to visit and check up on me. I wasn't allowed to eat, they only started feeding me the last 5 days with a low residue diet, I still cannot handle a regular diet. Was sent home with Prednisone, Flagyl, Cipro, 2 different pain medication, Nausea medication (Gravol) and Puffers. Was told if I develop fever, nausea & vomiting start again and not passing any bowel movements need to be re-admitted.Talk LaterIrene

Thanks Joyce, How are you doing? I Hope everything is going Well!

I'm staying with my sister for a few days. I will have a nurse that

will check up on me every week and every 1-2 weeks my dr's will be

following me up to ensure I don't relapse and to ensure I'm eating, I

still don't have the total appetite to eat. They told my sister I was

pretty sick by the time I was re-admitted in the hospital.

Even though I'm back home, I'm not completetly out of the woods, the

slightest fever, nausea, losing weight or vomiting, the nurse has to

call an ambulance to take me back to hospital.

Thanks Sher, I'm staying with sister for a few days. A nurse will be

coming every week to check up on me. My dr's from now on will be

monitoring me more closely. I'm not up and about yet, because I don't

have the energy yet and I lost so much weight 50 pounds+. Now I have

gotten a cold.
