Guest guest
I have been diagnosed with AS - about 20 years ago. My present dr just said RA but he treats them the same. I don't have all the classic symtoms but do feel confident about the first 2 diag. I have been on the Antibiotic Protocol for 9 yrs. I am better but not in remission. I do have problems with yeast and haven't gotten on top of that, so that and many other things could be why I am not in remission. I am definately glad that I went on the AP. I have more energy than I did before. I saw the letter that Ethel answered Lea about being on the protocol for 9 yrs etc. It reminded me that I need to figure out what else is keeping me from health. Guest guest
Hi, purnapoos_mom: Yes, I have AS and DIET is the best way to treat this: ALL flour products and most starches (especially potatoes) and ALL FRIED foods MUST be avoided. Next, ANTIBIOTIC therapy is very effective when combined with diet, but only temporary if not combined with diet (resistive strains select out rapidly). I have developed my own protocol, but if you wish to work with a physician, the target germ is Klebsiella pneumoniae and the focus of infection is the gut and mesentery. And primary LGS must be treated or else dairy products will not be tolerated very well. There are some scientific papers by EBRINGER who has figured this disease out (1983 btw) on www.kickas.org Good luck with it, aka 'DragonSlayer' purnapoos_mom <purnapoos_mom@...> wrote: I was wondering if anyone on this site has AS (Ankylosing Spondylitis) and has tried the Antibiotic Protocol for it. Also, do most people trying or on the AP start out with IV antibiotics first ??
