Marla, I lived in San for almost 2 years (1988-1990), and return to visit my daughter & granddaughters about once a year. How do you like traffic? I've lived in Dallas & Indianapolis, visited San Diego & Chicago, but I think the traffic in San is the worst I've driven in. Luckily, I lived & worked on the north side, so could avoid most of it, but sometimes I had to drive downtown to the big county clinic. I dreaded it!

The Riverwalk is nice, especially at Christmas. There is Fiesta Texas, kind of like Six Flags. I only went once and spent most of the time floating on a tube round & round the Lazy River, or something like that. Amusement parks are not my thing. I guess I really sound like a party pooper! The stuff I enjoyed was away from San ; a big lake (can't think of the name, of course), caverns, river rafting. Oh, it also seemed incredibly hot, and that was before I had any sarc stuff. If you move there, make sure your car, house, work, church, grocery store & everywhere else you go has very good air conditioning!

I know you will get some positive feedback. Remember, I'm the person who pouts when the snow melts! Hoosier Rose

does anyone live in Tx?

This is Marla in Colorado, but wondering if any of you live in Texas. My husband has an interview in San Friday, so I just may turn into Marla from Texas.
