Hi, To All !!!!!!

As all of you know I am new to the group. I have ILD. In addition I also have MCS which is an immnue syndrome. I became exposed to toxins, as a result my immune system was severely damaged. Both my fiancee and I suffered the same fate in different ways. As a matter of fact their are alot of ways to get this.

MCS is an isolating, debilitating condition. Your body losses its ability to eliminate toxins. Those toxins are then stored in your organs and in your fat until you suffer organ damage, or organ fatal which can be life thretning. About 15 % of the population is now sensitized by chemicals which can be natural occuring as is mold. Or it can be man made such is pesticides. It is expected that by 2020 at least 60% of the population will have some sort of immnue disorder, syndrome.

Our struggle is ongoing for recognition and acceptance of this condition. No one person is immnue. Although recognized by SS, HUD and many other government entities we continue to struggle with recognition. Without this we cannot get the proper medical care we need, nor housing, access is a major barrier for us.

First of all, your name is beautiful.

I also have Mixed Connective Tissue Disease. RA, Lupus, Sjogren's and Antiphospholipid Syndrome. I have done a lot of reading over the years, but never read about MCS.

Thank you for all the information about the syndrome. Making others aware is such an important work. Knowledge is priority one. There are so many autoimmune disorders that it boggles the mind. Has it always been so or have we just been uninformed? It gives me great respect for those researchers and scientists who are working to unravel the mysteries of the human immune system.
