Guest guest
Hi Jeanne in WI , The treatment my physician wants me to try is IV lidocaine therapy. He diagnosed me with Central Pain Syndrome which is a " consequense " of Fibromyalgia. I've been in a flare for over a year and have tried meds, physical therapy, rest, drugs, etc....with no relief and it has gotten to the point where I have a hard time taking care of my children and going to work. The IV lidocaine is supposed to desensitize the nerve endings and hopefully break this pain cycle I've been in so my body has a chance to regroup so to speak.
