Guest guest
Hey Jane, Sounds like you had a very interesting Mother's Day! You certainly had an adventure, that's for sure! One that neither you or will forget. I've become a lurker on the board......The group is in good hands with Joyce and Beth. Unfortunately, I don't have the luxury to be as active as a participant as I would like at this point in my life. We've been very busy at the Foundation. Are you having any side affects being on the sildenafil yet? Just wondering. I'm doing well. Thanks for asking. Say hey to Eddy and . I miss you guys. When's our next trip???? Guest guest
Leanne Your next trip? No more traveling for you....you travel too much....lol. My next trip is Thursday so when is yours? I won't be back until June. You're going to be waaaaaaaaaayyyyyyyyyyy behind. I also intend to try to see Beth and Eddy, Jane, and on the trip. Got to make those arrangements still. My current plans include over 3,000 total miles and 18-20 days. Will be staying in two different homes and at least 6 different motels. Will have to get 2-3 refills of my reservoir. Am going to have to use concentrator at my cousin's as his house has an enormous number of steps, all nice wood that I wouldn't want to damage with a hand truck even if someone would do it. > > > > > > Good to hear from you my friend. Guest guest
I'm in. I may have to come by myself. I think I have used Boy "UP". I can do it.. tell me where and when.. Love and Prayers, PeggyIPF 2004, Florida"Worry looks around, Sorry looks back, Faith looks up." Hi Leanne! I have had one side effect thus far. My face turns red somewhat. Not bright red. Maybe it's called flushing. It doesn't itch or burn. Maybe I have the drug. I am ready to go anywhere on a trip. Guest guest
Jane, Flushing is one of the side effects of all PAH drugs. It is especially bad with Flolan. That means that you have the real medicine. Which is good! Stay out of the rain! Guest guest
Jane/Joyce As to me it seems that in most trials one would get a clue from something like the flushing or other effects, it seems to be the Sildenafil is especially problematic in that regard. Trying to word this delicately, but any man in the study would be able to figure out rather easily if he's on the real thing or the placebo. I've wondered if that will compromise the study at all. > > > > > > > > > > Good to hear from you my friend. Was wondering how you were > > > doing... > > > > > Sorry to hear about your niece.
