Guest guest
Peggy, Here is a picture of a "Venti-Mask". This is the kind they had me using in rehab I've stuck with it. I have to use the orange attachment. It's the one that gives me the highest O2 concentration and keeps my sats in the 90's. I'd ask your doc what type of mask you should be using if you need a break from the cannula. Personally I can't stand the things. They're sweaty and they make me feel claustrophobic. I use it on the treadmill cause I have to but then I can't wait to rip the thing off my face. LOL I remember when I was in the ER to years ago and they had me on the mask, hated it then, hate it now. But it is a useful thing and we all do what we have to to keep our sats up. right? Please take it easy and be as poopy as you need to be. We're here and we love you no matter what!
