Guest guest
Hi y'all, we're off to a family reunion on Saturday (Chaz's side) and won't be home until Sunday evening, so I'll check back with you fine folks on Monday. We're having a horrible air quality day here. They're burning fields in Mexico and the smoke is coming right up poor ol' Texas butt...winds are not in our favor. My eyes are burning and I'm having some difficulty breathing. Not sure how this will play out at the reunion, but I can always just sit in the house if it gets too bad. One year it looked like brown fog it was so thick. I managed a Wal-mart trip today with h. Even with my O2 on the whole time I'm not able to catch a good breath, and I'm blaming the air quality as I feel ok otherwise. So, hope y'all have a good week-end. Remember to laugh, and try to take your minds off this stupid disease. It is NOT your whole life!!! Plant some herbs in a pot, read a trashy novel, put photos in an album (remember that old fashioned way to do those instead of on the computer?) or rent a really good old movie....Tootsie with Hoffman, Rat Race (always makes me laugh), or whichever movie you remember made you laugh a lot. If any of you are off to the family, or having family in, just relax and have a good time. I intend to do just that...in memory of the men and women who have served our Country and kept us free. God Bless the USA! Hugs to you all! Babs in smoky, cough cough, Texas Age 47 DX with PF due to lupus/scleroderma/rheumatoid arthritis in November of 1999 Also have raynauds and sjogrens. Guest guest
Hi Babs, Have fun at the family reunion. My family is coming over to my house. We are having Mexican food -carne asada, beans , rice, and lots of chips and guacamole! I just bought a new barbeque and these great solar powered umbrellas that light up at night. And you are so right-I am going to be busy laughing, eating, and no thoughts to PF. Sorry about the air around you. Hopefully it gets better soon. Take care- Sarcoid/PF 3/2006 California Signing off for a few days Hi y'all, we're off to a family reunion on Saturday (Chaz's side) andwon't be home until Sunday evening, so I'll check back with you finefolks on Monday. We're having a horrible air quality day here.
