bottled water

The problem with commercial mineral water is the toxins that are

released into it when the plastic bottle is overheated, which give

the water a sweetish taste that people like. So when bottled water

is being transported in hot weather, you may have stuff you don't

want in your water.

Angel, what are you refering to with bottles water? I buy bottles

spring water, a brand from Canada that I love and buy wholesale, but

they are in No. 1 plastic I see now. I assume you mean you are

buying it in glass bottles??

I can go to Wild Oats and buy their reverse osmosis water for .49

cents a gallon if I bring my own container to fill. I use one of

those blue plastic bottles that I bought there. If I used glass I

probably couldn't pick the thing up, and oops if I dropped it would

be a mess!! So do you buy small bottles of water in glass, buy

delivered water?? I wish I could find a good delivered spring water

or reverse osmosis water. I hate to carry the stuff home.

I have heard about not reusing the bottles from bottled water, but really do not

understand. If the plastic is leaching into the water when you reuse it,

wouldn't it do that from the start?

This concerns me, as I reuse my bottles all the time. However after my daughter

telling me about this, I stopped doing that, and bought some plastic water

bottles from wal-mart. Do you have the same problem with these as with the

pre-bottled water bottles? I bought two bottles, a small one that is very soft

and flexible, and a large bottle that is a very hard plastic.

If these two bottles also are no good, is there anything safe out there to carry

water in? I carry a bottle of water with me everywhere I go. I am a singer,

(when I am not sick from the mold) and hydration is a big must for good vocal

health. Unfortunatly the mold I have been exsposed to is really damaging my

vocal cords and my singing : (

Are there any alternatives to the plastic, other than glass?
