Help for others, like me, who are very confused about water filtration systems

I came across this website by mistake, but I think it may answer a lot of

basic questions for those of us who don't have a clue about water

filtration.

The National Sanitation Foundation does not sell water filters; they just

test them to see if they fullfill marketing claims and certify the filters

that do. Seems like it would be more unbiased than websites promoting a

favorite filtration system?
