Guest guest
Kurt Again; I'm on Wellbutrin now; tried Zyban, but it stopped working (or I gave up) about month 1.6. Tried twice. Zyban would make me sleepy, Wellbutrin allows me only 4 hours of sleep (max) a night. I think this RP is sleep deprivation-related, so I don't know if the Wellbutrin is a good or bad thing. Best not to have the " same old " people around if you want to quit; you must change your lifestyle. That's difficult. I know what you mean; what's the sense of quitting? Kurt. Guest guest
Kurt Again: I forgot to tell you the time; its 9:06 PM eastern US time now; I believe you are central Europe, don't know if that's five, six or seven hours..... KSP
Guest guest
: Kurt Here. Not lame, I think its part of the pathology of this thing (RP); obsessive compulsive, sleep deprivation, always need to be on edge from a nicotine fix. Everyone's got vice, other's hide theirs as it is most often more embarrassing than smoking. Kurt
Guest guest
He : Kurt Here. I'm interested in the relationship thing (breaking up with your boyfriend). If its not too personal, did you push him away because of MS, or did he push you away after your diagnosis, or was it something entirely different? The relationship thing has been the worst for me, would like frank and honest detail. Four years without smoking? Wow, that's will power. Guest guest
Hi Kurt, actually he was extremely helpful in dealing with the whole MS thing, (he was the one who brought me to and from the hospital till they diagnosed me) But he was very mentally controlling and would make me feel like I should be so lucky to be with someone like him cuz no-one else would want me. I put up with his crap for 3 years and when i was " nuts " from the MS, I had the courage to break up with him. (always have to look for that silver lining) So, needless to say, now i'm a little " gun shy " regarding men, its VERY hard to trust them and i want to " hurt " them (not physically) before they hurt me. So, thats my story folks. Talk to you all again later.
Guest guest
Hi I too smoke. I was up to 3 packs a day last month, but have gone back down to about 1 1/2 packs now. According to a map on time zones, you are 6 hours ahead of eastern daylight savings time. Soooooo, the chat would be 3:30 AM your time. Guess that's a little late for you huh? Did anyone get a daytime chat going? If so, what time is it? Maybe that one would work better for you Jean. >>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> 1/ Is/or was any of you heavy smokers? 2/ chat: which days and hours is it possibel to chat? concerning time: Geneva (Switzerland) has GMT + 1 hr (it's actually 1.40 PM over here) Central time (NY) GMT -6 hrs Eastern GMT -5 hrs thank you for informations God bless you all Jean
