Guest guest
GO KIM GO KIM ITS YOUR WLS BIRTHDAY!!! Congratulations hun, I am so glad you are doing well above all. Look forward to hearing more from you. I would go by the last weight they gave you. I am tired and will catch up tomorrow. Just wanted to say hey!! and you are VERY welcome!! Shauna wrote: Hello all. I was discharged today.Got home around 12 pm. Thank you Shauna for checking on me & passing the info & thanks for all those who expressed well wishes. At the time I spoke with Shauna I was still on my morphine pump & was feeling no pain but shortly after that reality hit. They removed the pump & I felt new pains I never felt before. Actually what is hurting me the worst right now is my lower back.I had to sleep with a pillow underneath it last night. The nurse said my back is bruised. She said they probably dropped me on the table or something but no one one will ever know. I mentioned it to the Drs team but they said it was probably from laying in the bed. My Dr Anita Courcoulas, operated on me and then had to fly to California. Her team kept watch over me this weekend. I don't know what weight to go with because my heighest weight was 298.Weight at Pre -op study last week was 288.Monday at my PcP for physical was 290.Before surgery I was 277.Such a HUGE variation! On the smell things.I am totally nauseated by the kids Pringles, salsa verde. That is all I can smell today & I want to barf. It's like an onion smell, yuck!!! I was told to prevent hair loss to take zinc once I am permitted to by the DR. OK I can't think of anything else to add at this time so I will sign off. Good luck to with your surgery tomorrow.
