Guest guest
I too had genioplasy (May 21, 2002). I never experienced anything like what you described when talking. Glad you like your new chin position. Keep on healing!! Guest guest
I went through 2 genioplasties as well (in august) - within a month of each other. First advancement by 12-13mm and then reduction (slide chin back) by about 5mm. Much happier after my 2nd genio cosmetically. I have no stiffness problem - just numbness in some areas of the lower gum next to the canines on one side (can't feel my gum when i floss there) and a small area on the front of the chin which is not really numb but has less feeling than normal. Minor side effects that i have learnt to ignore and do not bother me. Happy healing! > I just had my second Genioplasty (Oct 1,2002) to move my chin back > from an original genioplasty in April 2001 where I felt it was moved > too far forward.
