Guest guest
I am learning to use my kitchenaid grain mill. It seems to work fine down to about four clicks. After that, the grain/flour gets bound up in the hopper. I found I can make it work if I sit over it and pour the partially ground grain in a the same rate that it is coming out so that there is none sitting in the hopper. Or, if I pour a little in at a time but sit there with a knife and poke at it continuously so that it continues to move, that works. So, yes, the mill works, sort of. I would like to be able to pour in a cup of berries and have fine ground flour come out. Are the other mills in the $200 range able to do that? Do those of you with the kitchen aid have this same problem?
