Now stick a gold star on the calendar and at the end of the month count your blessings. I bet you will find there are more good days than you thought. Since my Mom had AD I know that each visit and each smile has to be treasured. One time when we went to see her she spent the whole time holding my hand and repeating "I have always loved you, Sharon." and considering I was an adopted child this was more than special.
