Guest guest
So you think topical fluoride can be a good thing? I guess I've been thinking that topical fluoride (which is probably partly ingested) was either unhelpful, or harmful, or both. Guest guest
I don't claim to be an expert, but I think it may have a place in toothpastes and mouthwash. At least in those products the consumer gets to choose whether to use it or not. -----Original Message----- From: leslie_kosar@... Guest guest
, As you may know fluoride is a toxic byproduct of the Aluminum industry. I no more belongs in your mouth than cyanide belongs in your mouth. Make specific efforts to avoid flouride containing products of any kind. There is a post prior to this one that has a link with good fluoride info and also www.mercola.com has some good articles on the topic. Guest guest
There is talk of fuoridating the drinking water in a nearby city. Yikes, what's next? Why don't they just put Prozac in the water too and we might all get along better! > > > > So you think topical fluoride can be a good thing? If I'm not mistaken, I read once way back when that the original studies on it were in areas where it was *naturally* occurring in the ground and so made its way into the water and food supply. This has nothing to do with the rat poison they artificially add to toothpaste and dental treatments. Studies showing the efficacy of additive fluoride have been heavily massaged to show favorable results. ~ Carma ~ To be perpetually talking sense runs out the mind, as perpetually ploughing and taking crops runs out the land. The mind must be manured, and nonsense is very good for the purpose. ~ Boswell Carma's Corner: http://www.users.qwest.net/~carmapaden/
