I came across them via the wonderful movie Genghis Blues, a documentary of San Francisco blues singer Pena and his trip to the remote country of Tuva, to participate in their traditional " throat singing " competition. The movie is inspirational.. I caught it on the Sundance channel but it may be in video stores.
